July 2012 ~ The Town’s new water system is now what we consider completely installed. The improvements to the quality, quantity and accountability of the public water use is much improved. During and after the Durachio storm that tore through many communities including Goshen, this summer, and being without electricity, our water system never faltered! Thanks to the new system upgrades and the installation of a generator for the water system, everyone continued to have clean, plentiful, reliable water.
July 2011 ~ As we near the completion of the water project, we are seeing a marked decrease in water being lost to leaks, a decrease in our opperational cost of supplying water to our customers and a very reliable, up to date municipal water system!
The Town is very pleased and proud of this accomplishment. To be able to serve our customers with high quality drinking water, no waste of water, uninterrupted water service at a reasonable cost to everyone.
We extend our gratitude to the many people, companies , agencies and entities involved in making this major project a success.
October 2010 ~ The water tank on route 600 or Big River has been taken down in preparation for the new water tank to be installed. Those folks in this area may experience periods of low water pressure until the installation of the new tank is complete.
Meters are now being installed, should you have considerably less water flow and/ or pressure once your meter is installed, please contact the Town Hall at 997-5545.
The following pictures are from the Water Project Celebration held on June 30, 2010.Celebrating the half way mark of the Town’s new water system! A very well attended event.

Water Project Celebration June 30, 2010
The Town of Goshen is currently seeing progress in the upgrading of it’s public water system!
Atkins Excavating was the successful bidder for the water system project and is making leaps and bounds in installing new water lines throughout the Town. Also planned, is a new water storage tank for Rt. 600; there will be upgrades to the pumping station, many new upgrades to the water system, and for the first time for the Town, water meters to each household.
As work progresses, we ask our residents to be patient, as there may be days your water service is interrupted for brief periods of time.
Also, if you experience any decrease in your water pressure after your meter has been installed, please contact the Town Hall so that the pressure reducer valve can be adjusted.
We will keep you posted on the progress of the Water System Project!
